Hello Everyone,

I got a laptop earlier this year that had windows 8 on it. Well I got a virus on it earlier this year on it. So I went ahead formatted to make sure I get rid of the virus on it. And put windows 8.1 on it. Well I keep getting this error code critical_structure_corruption. Everything I find online there saying that it’s the drivers and that they need to be updated. Well I did that and all my drivers are up to date. I removed all software that I don’t need. To make sure it wasn’t that. I also seen that it could be the voltage which I never messed with that. So I don’t do any overclocking. I also disable the Intel boost and the visualization in the bios. So if someone can please help me. I will be very thankful!

Dell Inspiron (7720 I believe it’s the 7720)
Intel Core i5-3230M CPU 2.60 GHz

So everyone knows what the cause was. Microsoft finally put a fix on it. I believe was a type of driver that needed to be fixed for Hard Drives. So I went ahead and installed it. And haven't had problem for a couple weeks now. I listed the website where Microsoft took me to download it.
