Hello Everyone,

I got a laptop earlier this year that had windows 8 on it. Well I got a virus on it earlier this year on it. So I went ahead formatted to make sure I get rid of the virus on it. And put windows 8.1 on it. Well I keep getting this error code critical_structure_corruption. Everything I find online there saying that it’s the drivers and that they need to be updated. Well I did that and all my drivers are up to date. I removed all software that I don’t need. To make sure it wasn’t that. I also seen that it could be the voltage which I never messed with that. So I don’t do any overclocking. I also disable the Intel boost and the visualization in the bios. So if someone can please help me. I will be very thankful!

I'm not sure why It didn't fix your issue. If I was you. I would just upgrade to windows 10 if you can. If you have a second pc or you have a friend create an window 10 disk for you. Then pop it into your PC and do an upgrade. That's the only solution i can think to try. Or if you can restore it factory default and update everything. Then upgrade to windows 10. ***Warning, make sure you backup all or you files, music, pictures and etc. And if you know how to. Make an image of your pc so you have something to refer back to. ***
