Is it worth upgrading to haswell ?

I am currently running a core i3 3220 on this mobo ==> http://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=73210
I was thinking of getting a i5 for better performance but if i switch to an haswell socket, id have to get a new mobo too. So I was thinking of getting a ivy bridge on a dead socket, but is it worth it ?

the current i5 3570k and i5 4670k are pretty much the same cpu if you dont count the integrated gpu improvements (and if you use a dedicated graphics card the integrated is shut down).

If you're on Ivy Bridge, you might as well stay there, Haswell only offered a 5-10% boost clock for clock over Ivy Bridge, a faster Integrated Graphics chip and the AVX2 instruction set. I'd just get an Ivy Bridge i5 or i7 if you want a new CPU unless you really need AVX2 support, or really, really want faster integrated graphics.

You should get a 3570 or a 3570k. (get the non K version if you dont plan on overclocking or your current motherboard isnt a Z series chipset)

If you want to OC or have that option you may need a new motherboard. What is your current motherboard?
