Fans starts working loudy on standby mode?!?!?

hello guys,
Lately Im having this problem..Fans work normally and silently when im using computer.
Lets say If I put down the mouse and watch a movie or something or do nothing after couple of minutes its starts to work loudly.After I move the mouse again fan starts to work normally and silently again

What does this mean?!?! please help.

switch to s3 standby mode from the bios. should make the pc stop completely instead of normal standby.

but in fact what actually happens probably is that you have some program(s) which run while idle (such as the .net ngen optimization or seti@home or others) - start a task manager and monitor the cpu usage before and while it starts spinning up.
