Best GPU Upgrade

I recently bought http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/cyberpowerpc-cyberpowerpc-gamer-xtreme-gxi600-pc-intel-core-i5-4670k-1tb-hdd-8gb-ram-windows-8-english-gxi600/10260853.aspx?path=76432259ecfde1f75285de9efea6550een02 for gaming, mostly playing wow. it runs wow on high with minimum problems. The only thing i can see that needs immediately upgrading is my GPU. Any ideas what GPU i should get. If you see any other things that need immediately upgrading plz tell me and tell me what to get to upgrade it.

Nice system. GPU wise, I'd suggest a GTX760 whch is good price/performance ratio. And also an SSD for your OS to run off of. Make your system a lot speedier. You have te hardware to drive any high end GPU. 8gb is fine for gaming right now.

What about DDR3 and GDDR3? Mines says DDR3 but can a DDR5 be put into it without changing anything? And if possiable and you post any links to the GPU and SSD i should purchase.

well your system ram is DDR3, your GPU ram is GDDR3/5 Most new GPU's only use GDDR5 ram, as it allows for much higher bandwidth for the mem. Only certain older cards have GDDR3ram on the GPU.

i'm no expert on ssd's, but I see that one being recommended all of the time.

You need to list your budget. For an upgrade to a regular 650, you can go from $180-$500+ for a card. If you can already run WOW on high with no issues, why upgrade? What else are you looking to play and at what resolutions?

It seems there has been some confusion about DDR and GDDR.

DDR is system ram, used by the processor. It can be bought separately.

GDDR is graphics ram built into the graphics card. It cannot be changed with respect to the card.

As of now DDR3 is the best system ram commercially available, while GDDR5 has been around for quite a long time already.

Normally we just assume people mean video ram when they say DDR5, there is a difference but really does not matter in the posts unless people start to think they can buy GDDR5 for their motherboards to replace DDR3 RAM to get extra speed. I don't even bother with the G most of the time and just call it DDR3 vs DDR5 for video cards. Funny part is, what happened to GDDR4?? It seems that was that shortest lived tech since RAMBUS. I don't even remember a card that came out with it, although looking around the net, there were some.
