Alright, so I built this computer about a year ago the issue I'm having doesn't seem to be documented, so I might just have a faulty card or something, but here it goes. Whenever I connect my 24" tv to my computer, via hdmi while leaving my monitor connected (with a vga cable through the dvi adapter that came with the card) I get these small artifacts (screen tearing, 3d games stretching etc.) and occasionally (every 30 min or so) the graphics driver crashes. It's not my gpu temps because it never goes above 70c and my computer performs just fine at 80-89c. when I'm bitcoin mining. Just some background, these problems happened before I started mining so i doubt that's the issue.
My computers specs are :
-Asus M4N75TD motherboard
-AMD Phenom 2 x4 955 cpu
-8gb ddr3 corsair vengeance ram
-XFX HD Radeon 6770 1gb ddr5 gpu
-rocketfish 550w psu

Any help you can provide would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

The GPU only has 1GB GDDR5 memory. Dual screening is highly recommended to 2GB cards, 1GB cards tend to have more issues with it. So this reason is due to the GPU's memory, nothing else...
