I'm buying a PC off pcspecialist.co.uk , and i have a REALLY strict budget - £370. I can't change this. Here is what i've come up with

AMD A8 6600k Quad Core APU
Radeon HD 7770 1gb GDDR5
1x4GB RAM
500GB HDD
450W psu

I want to play battlefield 4 on high at 720p. Would it play? If you have any other suggestions, please post the parts, but they have got to be available on pcspecialist.co.uk for £370. I dont need an OS :)

don't buy an APU chip if you are going to get a video card off the bat. the price of that APU you could probably get a 6core AMD instead and be better off. are you ordering parts online?

I'm buying parts here http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/computers/amd-fm2-richlan... . They build it and mail it to me. This is my only option as my dad won't let me build it myself. If you can configure a better build for £370 on that website, please post it :)

apu's are not meant to be paired with a dedicated gpu. If you want an apu you could get the a10-5800k without the graphics card. Just dont expect bf4 on high though. You could build it cheaper yourself but since thats out of the question and your budget is a bit tight, the best I could come up with is this,

i3 4130
radeon 7770
4gb ram
500 gb hdd
450 watt psu

Should come to about 373 pounds

This should be better than your previous choice

wait until January 14th and get the new A10-7800k APU and stick with the integrated card. it will be as good as the 7770 and at 140 total for that apu you can get 8gb ram 2x4gb and a 1tb hdd for the same price. its worth the wait

^^^ This. I'm a building a PC for my girlfriend as it's part by part as she has the money, and I'm waiting for the new APU's as the last part and getting the FM2+ motherboard now.

trust me its well worth the wait. the graphics built in are going to be the best to date and the a10 is the most powerful apu available.

really, your budget is going to limit what you want to do which is play one of the latest, most demanding games out there.

Building a basic half-assed system that is barely going to play the game isn't the best. I would honestly, try and save and increase my budget, or buy a console.

With today's demanding games, budget and gaming and PC don't go together. I just built a $1200 tower that can do BF4 on high at 1080p but not ultra. Any cheaper, and I couldn't even do that.

Not everyone can blow £1000 on a pc. I'll wait till the A10 -7800k

i can build a $1000 pc that will and an $800 that will play it at mid-midhigh as long as 30-45 fps is ok with you. but for 720p at mid to high settings the new a10 in 2014 will be fine
