i have two hard drives: a 64 gig SSD and a 1 TB hard drive. When i bought the computer i had them install windows on the SSD and it was a mistake because it just took up to much of the SSD. What i want to do is move windows to the normal HD and then get a new SSD to install games and applications onto. Is there a way to move windows to the other one? A friend thought i would have to buy a new copy. Thanks for your help.

i've been trying that for 3 years now and i'm constantly having to mess with it. it stays 95% full and i think it really slows down the performance. Why is it a bad idea? I had a friend come over about a year ago and clean some things up and set the default to my regular HD and that has helped some.

Because that would be a waste of the speed the SSD provides.

Here are some tips :

If i were you I would re-install windows anew and manage it properly.
