Hi people,

I recently reinstalled a fresh windows but I forgot, before that, to format my second drive (usually windows ask for it when you reinstall it).

I got a SSD where windows is installed and the second one (i want to clear) where i've some data i dont care and old windows restoration data (i currently haven't configured the windows save point so i guess (hope) it's just some kind of trash data).

I would like to know what's the safest and most proper way to format my second drive without reinstalling all the system.
Is left click -> format drive, safe enough to do that ?

thanks in advance

If you want to wipe everything on it, and don't care if you never see any of those files again, that's fine. Although if the HDD was bootable your system may try to boot from it occasionally; you would have to go a little further to mark it as not being bootable.

Please be very, very sure which drive you are formatting - don't take out your system drive by mistake. It does happen.
