Can someone explain this bottlenecking thing I have read it over a thousand times ?
Bottlenecking is a term best demonstrated in this example. Take a cup of coffee, and a bottle of soda. Turn each upsidedown, how fast does each 'empty' its contents? The Soda takes a longer time as it is 'choked' in the bottle's neck to come out.
This is the same concept with data, if you have a fast hard drive, connected to fast RAM, but then a slow CPU, the GPU is waiting and waiting on the CPU to 'process' enough 'data' that the GPU can do its job, it 'lags' the game / application because it is twiddling its thumbs waiting on the CPU to hand over the data. The same happens if the HDD is slow, or the RAM is low quality, and so on.
