My girlfriend needs a desktop for rendering on sketchup and revit and i want a desktop to game on. We are on a tight budget and im thinking of getting the amd fx-8350 but after doing some research, i'm wondering if we should collect some cans and get this instead http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819116502.
Also planning on getting a nvidia evga gtx 650 2gig. So what do you guys think and can you recommend something else?

if you are on tight budget fx 8320/8350 will offer you great value for money performance for rendering and also gaming...
i7 would be better but much more expensive solution ...
3770 is older ivy bridge chip , intel has newer model in stock now (4770 - socket 1150)
if you also intend to play modern games you should buy more powerfull video card at least gtx 650 Ti boost edition
For rendering, you'd be good with an FX 8320/8350. I honestly don't think it would be necessary to get an i7.

And FX 8320 is just a lower stock clocked FX 8350, you can easily overclock it to FX 8350 speeds and you'll save some $.
