hi there! i have a problem, i had some old monitor " i don't remember which make or model " it was 24" not widescreen i guess 4:3.. so i played some games with High or Maximum Graphic settings and Anti aliasing 4x-8x even the 16x in call of duty MW3 was not a PROBLEM... so now i have this Acer monitor AL1916W 19" widescreen 16:9 i think. so the maximum settings for my gaming experience is LOW or Normal (in some games Minimum.) so do you know what may be the problem? Thank you! P.S. sorry for bad English.

Maybe the old monitor had a lower resolution and required less graphics power to run it.
Have you updated your graphics card drivers?
Also that graphics card is getting outdated and will be slow on newer games.
What games do you play?

you are right in some way, but here for example: my friend give me some samsung monitor its 18.5" i believe and my other friend give me LG monitor 20" both are widescreens and the games: MW3 or Grid 2 or Crysis etc. runs perfectly some on maximum some on high, normal. on my monitor i even need to turn off the shadows to have normal playing experience... (Crysis 2 on minimal settings runs horrible i think it has 4-5 FPS or lower :D )

the resolution on old monitor i think was 1600 something i don't remember really :( this have 1440-900.
