My computer uses a wired connection that connects to my wireless router, and the internet works perfectly fine, but other computers and things like phones can't wirelessly connect to the router. Sometimes it detects my router, but when it tries to connect it fails, and then it loses the detection and if I try to scan again, it doesn't show up. This is the router:

It's pretty old. Has the wireless in it just crapped out on me?

Yeah. My phone is right next to the router and it's not detecting the router. The PC trying to connect wirelessly is in the room next to the router. It never had this problem before. However, my PC that is wired to the router is working perfectly fine. It's just the wireless that's not working.

Verify that the wireless is actually broadcasting...:) If so, that Netgear may be toast.

OK
So we've logged on to the router, and the WiFi is apparently on and functional.

Standing next to it, can any device see the SSID?

When I unplug or restart the router, the devices detect it for a few seconds, fails to connect, and it disappears from the list of SSIDs.
