My current PSU is on its last legs churning away and now freezes games black screen. So I am looking to replace my 580w Hiper with
750W Corsair Builder Series CX, 85% Eff', 80 PLUS Bronze, SLI/CrossFire, EPS 12V, Quiet Fan, ATX v2.31 PSU. My question is how easy is it to remove old PSU and insert the new one. Having never done this before I just need a word from the wise that it is straight forward. Any advice would be appreciated. Also is the replacement a good one or are there any betters ones I shoud be considering.

It is as straight forward as unplugging the power cord, unplugging all the connections on the inside (motherboard 20-24pin, 4-8pin extra connector to the motherboard, drives, video cards, and fans), and then removing the four screws that hold it in.

Remove supply, place new one in the same place. Screw it in, plug all the wires in, plug supply into the wall and turn it on.

There are several easy to understand tutorials and a few on youtube as well. You won't have any problem if you read or watch any of the tutorials.
