i5-4670k vs FX-8350 Gaming Build

I am needing help on which build I should choose between these two. I game quite a lot and I am wanting to start overclocking. The games I mainly play are BF4, Dota 2, and AC4.

Build 1:

CPU-i5 4670k
CPU Cooler-Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Motherboard-ASRock Fatal1ty Z87 Killer
RAM-G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
GPU-Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 2GB
Case-NZXT Source 210 Window
PSU-EVGA SuperNOVA NEX750B BRONZE 750W

Build 2:

CPU-fx 8350
CPU Cooler-Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Motherboard-Asus M5a99fx Pro R2.0
RAM-G.Skill Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
GPU-Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 2GB
Case-NZXT Source 210 Window
PSU-EVGA SuperNOVA NEX750B BRONZE 750W

The reason for the 750w PSU is I will be getting a second 770 late on when I get the money, as for the missing hard drive, I already have one I will be scavenging from my old computer.

More about 4670k 8350 gaming build
  1. I personally would go with the 4670K!
  2. 4670k, better frame rates on a lot of games
  3. +1 to the 4670k currently. However in the future the tables may turn with games being designed for more cores...
  4. If you care about benchmarks then go Intel in real world there is barely any noticeable differences!
  5. Gaming = 4670k

    Editing/render = 8350

    so simply get 4670k :D
  6. I think you'd be better off with the i5-4670K and you can always upgrade to an i7 in the future if you want.
  7. Thanks for all the replies!
  8. The two builds will game identically in games like Crysis 3 , BF3 , and BF4 .

The AMD will usually be better if you are streaming

The intel might produce higher fps in older games , but usually that makes no difference because a monitor can only display 60 FPS and the AMD build will almost always hit that number and more anyway .

I would not use that case for SLI though . The cooling will be marginal

Any case that you would recommend that is still cheap?

Around the same price as the case I have listed. So around $50-$60.
