Hello everyone i am looking to make my first venture into watercooling. For the moment i would like to cool just my cpu but maybe in the future when i have better graphics card i will include them aswell. I am using NZXT phantom full tower case. From the searching i have done i can fit a slim 360mm rad in the top and a 240mm rad in the bottom. I would like to buy a kit to start my venture in watercooling and was looking at these two XSPC kits.

Raystorm EX360 w/ D5 vario

Raystorm AX360 Universal CPU Water Cooling Kit w/ D5 Photon

I like the AX360 a little bit more due to the cylinder res i think it looks cool. but if its not practical i could get a EX360 and be just as happy. I also know that i will lose the top drive bay and have to drill some extra holes in my case but that is not a big deal to me. The rest of my system specs are:

i7 3770k @ 4.3ghz
asrock z77 extreme 4
16gb ram
1tb hdd 120gb ssd
gtx 660 SC (sli'ing in the next few days when my second arrices)
ocz zt 750 watt psu
NZXT phantom

Thanks for any advice,
Chris

Either will serve you fine, as you have identified the main difference between them will be where the pump/res will be mounted. I would lean toward the AX360 kit myself, bay mounted pumps tend to let off a lot of noise as there is no room to decouple (pad against vibration) it.
