PS3 Emulator, Is this real?

Not real. The PS2 emulator, PCSX2 takes a pretty decent computer to run properly, and there are some games that still don't run on it, even with the newest bios. A PS3 emulator would take a better computer than what's currently available, also, it'll take years to come out with an emulator for it because of the complexity of it. I keep my eyes open, is it possible. Sure. Is it likely at this point in time? No.

the problem with emulating a console is that you need to emulate the hardware they have because they all use hardware that has next to nothing in common with computers so your computer has to basically create all that hardware virtually and run the game

although I expect with the new consoles using PC based parts emulators wouldn't need stupidly powerful computers because they probably could just attempt to run most of it natively without emulating the consoles hardware exactly (actually no thinking about it the ps4 and xbox1 hardware might have some strange ways of doing things the pc based counterparts do not for example the first xbox was close to PC but because of the way parts did things (and the lack of documentation) its near impossible to properly emulate an xbox)

RPCS3 has succeeded in running arkedo series with low fps.It is first ps3 game which runs on pc.HOpe we will see fully functional RPCS3 in near future say 10-15 years.

There actually is a real working emulator for the PS3 out there named rpcs3. Though it can only run demos and a series of bejeweled clones, but it seems to be progressing rather quickly. Also I have a lower end, but recent, computer and it runs PCSX2 fine and there are only like a couple of games that don't work at this point.

Only 4 months late, and I don't consider demos or bejewelled a PS3 emulator. PS3 has what? A million other games that the emulator DOESN'T work on. Considering the emotion engine was only 300Mhz with 32Mb memory in the PS2, ya, you need something considerably faster to emulate effectively. Even 4 months late, I stand behind my statements. Not Yet Ready to be looking at efficient PS3 emulation. Is it coming along fast, sure, is it there yet? Definitive NO.
