Screen resolution stuck on 640x480

Hi i recently decided to get advanced system care 7 ( free version ) and use it to to get better pc performance .

For turbo boost ( gaming assumed ) and fast start up ) it selected and disabled
programmes or devices to help speed my computer up.

once i restarted my computer my screen is stuck on 640x480 res and
colout [4bit] .

ive tried changing the resolution but when i do nothing happends and just stay on the 640x480

might add im no computer wiz so any help would be great thanks alot

1.Uninstall Advaced System Care
2.Try to reinstal your Video card Driver.
This should fix the resolution problem.
And if you want performance boost (for gaming) try Razer Game Booster google it.

Follow the above advice, except for one thing.

Do Not use any software which claim to boost your performance in games or whatever, no software can make any difference to your performance. Performance is something that your hardware gives, what you have is all you have got.

What such software do is clean your pc a bit , removing Junk files clearing RAM etc. to free up the performance being consumed by something else so you can use it in games. So if you already have
1. a neat error free installation of OS and Drivers,
2. Installed only the needed software and no crapware or bloatware.
3. Use CCLeaner once in a month.
You are set. No other software can increase any performance , you are already getting max you have got.
If you don't do the above 3. start doing them. These 3 practices will keep your PC performing top notch. Don't use all these gimmicks like GameBooster , Turbo Booster yada yada.
