I have to use Wireless through my house because my computer is too far away from the Router, before I'd get 4 or 5 bars, and it wasn't an issue.

Recently though, my dad shut off the wireless on our router to test if it would improve his wired connection while I was at work. We also had a power outage that same morning, my computer was off at the time, and the Router was on, while the wireless was off. After I came back, my computer only had 2 bars and will drop it's connection completely about every 20 minutes or so, and it takes a few minutes to reestablish the connection.

My computer also will experience minor lagging on its own when this happens. My audio will cut in and out, like it's buffering from a Youtube video, even if it's already on my computer. My mouse will jerk and just be laggy in general.

I've looked at my Resource Monitor, and there is no spiking or drops in CPU, RAM, or Disk. My Network does however, go from the about the halfway mark to zero instantly.

We have tried hard resetting the router, turning the wireless off and back on, and removing my wireless card and putting it back in.

My phone, PS3 and Xbox all have the same issues no matter how far from the router they are.

Is there a way to fix this?

If multiple devices are having the same issue then the issue sounds like it's with the router. Do you have another router you can test with? If you're familiar with router configuration you can also try doing a factory reset (there should be a reset button somewhere on the router that you can hold for about a minute to have everything go back to defaults), and seeing if this improves things.

I have tried other routers we have. One was an old Linksys G router, which broadcasted at about 3 bars and I could connect to, but wouldn't let me access internet at the same time the other router cut out. Wired connections still had no issues.
