Hello all, this is my first time building a PC and i'm having some trouble putting everything together. I'm not sure if some parts are more than what I need, lacking, or simply incompatible with everything else. I would really appreciate any feedback.

I want to at least run BF4 on high settings, and ideally on ultra with good FPS. I will be using a single 1080p monitor. My budget is <= $1100 (excluding tax and shipping). I only need a new motherboard, cpu, gpu, psu, and ram.

additional info:
Approximate Purchase Date: within the next month
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, Digital art, Editing.
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: newegg.com and amazon.com
Country: U.S.A.
Overclocking: Maybe
SLI or Crossfire: in the future

prospects:
motherboard: ASUS SABERTOOTH Z77

cpu: Intel Core i5-3570K

gpu: r9 280x

psu: 850w 80+ gold, anything with a decent rating (I was thinking of this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817152043)

ram: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL

other parts I'm interested in:

motherboard:
- GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD3H (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128544)
- ASRock Z77 Extreme4 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=13-157-293%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20%20)
- GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-D3H (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128546)

ram: I currently have G.SKILL SNIPER 2X4GB (F3-12800CL9D-4GBSR) and I don't know if I can carry them over.

Thank you in advance!

Solution
dump the sabertooth and find a cheaper Z77 board for less than $135, like this one;
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157293

unless you're going for aesthetics, i doubt a first timer is going to put the features on the Sabertooth to good use & go for a high OC. and with a <$1100 budget, the motherboard is not something you should be spending a lot on.

a quality 600-650W 80+bronze is plenty for a single GPU build, unless you plan to add half a dozen HDDs, LEDs, & such. 750W 80+ bronze (Silver if you're so inclined) for dual CF/SLI. use this link as a guide. i recommend a Seasonic, Antec or Corsair from tier 2a & 2b for your budget; http://www.eggxpert.com/forums/thread/323050.aspx
