Ok guys ill start this with I suck at grammar please don't hate thanks :)
So here is the dealio I currently have a shit dell, socket 775 , 4gb of ddr2 ram, ge force 9800 , intel pentium d duel core. Windows 7

Well I am starting to love 3d design and animation a lot actually.
I have used cinemd 4d , maya , blender , Z brush and a few more.
So cinema is my favorite by far so simple and easy. Blender cycle engine just rapes my pc like it sucks ass and takes forever.

So I kinda have a opportunity right now to join a very close friend video game company. He asked me to start to do some basic modeling and we agreed on me being a extra render farm.

My budget is around 3 - 4.5k hoping so. I am super stuck on which CPU to get if I should get Xeons 1366 on a Evega board or what. Since I do not know of a duel cpu board for I7.

Do any of you guys got some good recommendations? I would like to eventually in the end run up to 4 graphics cards as I add on to this. And would love Liquid cooling, I am only asking all this because I am just stuck and came here for some help.

So thanks for taking the time to read this guys hope someone may have a good answer :)

Oh waite forgot I would Like to use blender so much more for the realism I get out of the cycles engine so idk how much of a difference that would make.

You don't need a dual socket motherboard, a high end CPU will perform just as well. This GPU is meant for rendering, not gaming, so keep that in mind.

Chucky I totally agree on a SSD I get so nervous about my drives dying that I even made a drive cooler out of plexy glass and attached a fan. Speccy saying that on average my drive is around 28 celsius at all times so ya I have OCD about that lol
