I Built my computer.. Intel SSD SATA II HD for my boot drive, Windows 7 PRO 32 bit OS, AMD Phenom II X6 1090T 6-Core Processor, ASUS MB, I built it to see if I could get the highest WEI possible (7.9) well for the $$s I had to spend, the highest I got was a 7.1, which was good enough for me, as I wasn't going to spend a few hundred more for a few tenths of a point. However I had to replace the MB so I replaced it with a better one. So after I got it going again I ran the WEI again to see if it was any higher, but found that it had went from a 7.1 which it had always been down to a 6.9 and that the rating on the INTEL SSD went down. It's the same SSD, so why would the score go down? I replaced the MB with a better one, so can anyone tell me what's up? I didn't have to do anything except install the new MB drivers with the change of MBs, everything else was the same. Does the MB have anything to do with changing the transfer rate of a SSD?
Thanks.
