I formatted My HD on HP purchased OEM copy of WIN XP PRO SP3. It is a bootable cd but when I try to boot I get the message to" insert a systems disc" and press enter but it hangs at that point. This XP disc will boot on another computer. Any suggestions as to what to try?.

not to over emphasise the obvious,but you know xp support is done in april. now most people think it will just be hard to find updates on a clean install but it also means that it will be the target of hackers and other exploits that it will have no defense against.time to let sleeping dogs lie here.was the xp disk that much cheaper than win7? is this a factory disk or a burned one?
