Hey, so my story is i'm partially clueless when picking parts and seeing if they do great together (I'm a noob in short words)
So I searched around and found this site and a thread with this site, I played around and made my own list and i'm wondering if there are any better parts below my $900 dollar range? The list is...

Yeah Newegg have a base price of $65 on that motheboard - $10 rebate, and a $10 combo discount if you get an FX6300 too. If you were getting the FX6300 already, that means it costs the same as your previous motherboard and is massively superior. It's a fantastic price.
If you really wanted the Corsair 200R, it's back to $40, so it's much better value now.

I'm not sure I'd spend any more on graphics. At that tier you have the HD7950 and GTX760 and there is not much between them. If...

Overall, pretty good.
You probably need to toggle off Microcenter as a retailer (to my knowledge they don't deliver)

Go for the FX6300 over the FX6100, it's nearly the same price and significantly better.

If you can find the cash, I'd change the motherboard too. Newegg have combo discounts on a couple of cheaper 970 chipset motherboards which bring them down to fairly close to the price of yours, and offer better features like SATA6 and better memory support.

At $60 I don't think the 200R represents great value for money. If you want something to get the job done, it's hard to look past something like the Antec One for $30 right now.

All of those combined should give you a good boost overall without increasing the total cost.

I did those changes and changed the board to a Gigabyte GA-970A-D3P ATX AM3+/AM3 Motherboard, is that any good? Also i'm wondering since my price is cheap I maybe can invest in a better GPU? Got any recommendations to attempt to max out a few games?

If you wanted to see a decent jump in performance over the GTX760 you'd need to step up to an R9 280X or GTX770, and that'd probably push your build over $900 (you'd probably want to change up the PSU too).
Also, if you want an EVGA GTX760, I'd get this one - http://pcpartpicker.com/part/evga-video-card-02gp43765kr better cooler.
