Hello all, i made a previous thread that was kind of vague, so I thought I would make this a lot better. I just finished building my rig and everything was working really well so I started updating my drivers. Once i got to the MOBO drivers (ASROCK Z87 PRO) everything went to hell in a hand basket. The machine rebooted then started boot cycling over and over. I was able to calm it down by removing one of the RAM DIMMS. I discovered that placing RAM in the A-1 or A-2 slot causes it to fail (it will only recognize ram in B-1 or B-2). I reinstalled the factory drivers, refreshed the CMOS and installed the newest BIOS testing between each step. No matter what I do the computer will not recognize the a-slot ram (to clarify, i knows its in there but it fails memory check).

At this point i am not sure what to do. I'd hate to have to send the mobo back because of down time and the massive pain of ripping everything back out of the system. Any help would be just wonderful =)

Update: did a fresh Windows install, no change in the issue. The BIOS can see the memory DIMM in the A slot (1 or 2 it even recognizes the type, manufacturer ect) but it still gives 4 beeps and fails the memory error. :(
