I built my gaming pc not too long ago and everytime i play a game my gpu goes up to 65C~75C. Cpu is overclocked to 4.4 ghz 35C~45C. When i am done playing games and shut off my computer i hear crackling and popping noises 5 minutes later. Some people tell me its the speaker that makes noises but i don't have any speaker, i have a usb headset. My hard drive slot broke so i let it dangle next to the motherboard. Do you think hard drive is causing the popping noises? is it because its colliding with the motherboard?

Sounds like there are some dying capacitors either in the PSU or on the mobo. Check the motherboard for bulging capacitors, if clean try the PSU on a diff setups to see if you hear it. If the mobo has some bulging capacitors, needs to be replaced.
