Before I start, I would just like to say that I hope I put this thread in the right section, and if not sorry. I am a new member to this site (as of like 10 minutes ago ha).
So I am going to be building my first computer from the ground up. I have never done this, but I have upgraded parts on other builds from the past (mainly the computers from like Dell for an example). So I have actually never started from scratch. I would just curious if someone would like to confirm to me if all these parts are compatible, to make sure that I don't start building, and then realized something doesn't fit.
I am building this primarily as a video editing machine (I love making movies and videos). But I will be doing some gaming on the side, but nothing too big really. I will probably play Halo 1, Halo 2, a few other games that aren't super big, and a lot of emulators of past consoles. I won't be overclocking as well. Here is what I am looking at (some of the stuff is obvious that it fits, I'm just adding it all to get opinions):

If I goofed up, please be nice, I am noob since it is technically my first time building from the ground up, and first time ordering parts, such as the Power supply! And if anyone has any suggestions, I like to hear them! (don't make expensive suggestions, I only have $1000 to spend ha). Planning on making this computer last awhile, which I think it will since I am not making it to ONLY be a gaming machine!
