Litecoin miners buying every single R9 280x?

Is it just me or do these clowns just purchase every single bloody card available in the US that isn't overpriced by 100$? Honestly, just a bunch of idiots trying to get rich. Some people have a damn system to build!

Bitcoins and Litecoins are different. The only way to make money with Bitcoins is with an ASIC. People mining Litecoins are speculating they will go the same way as Bitcoins in value.

Well its holiday season so there is lots of ligitimate purchases right now.
But yes coin miners are not the brightest and they will waste tons of money/hardware on it.
