Which monitor should I get? Looking for a cheap 1080p monitor for gaming myself.

Solution
For that price range and that size? Those 2 monitors you posted are already good and there is almost no other cheaper alternatives for the same size and specs.
There are better monitors but as usual, they are more expensive.
It depends trully on your budget and need.
With budget up to USD170 and if you are looking a TN monitor for games, those 2 are already good.

There are IPS monitors (HP 23ix, etc.) in that price range but they are not that good for games since IPS panels are a bit slower than TN.
I do not think your eyes can really tell the difference of image quality from both although, theoretically, the VE247H should be better.
Both are good monitors, you will not regret getting any of them.

Note:
I hate white as color for monitors, I usually go for either grey or black. I guess thisi is not important ^^

Seeing how you seem to be an expert and all, do you have any recommendations (around the same price) besides these two monitors that you feel would be a better buy? I'm just trying to get the most out of my money like a cheapskate! :sarcastic:
Also, thank you for the quick reply!
