I am planning to 2-way crossfire R9 280x.
but i am using only 600W 80+gold

other is:-
FX-6350
1TB HDD
8 GB single Ram
MOBO = Gigabyte 970A
No ODD
but many fans

Even though super flower makes excellent power supplies, I highly doubt you have enough watts/amps. A single R9 280X typically comes with a recommendation of 600W system. For crossfire, it's more like 900W.

it's in the lower part of the grey area where it can go both ways. a more powerful psu is recommended. yes.

ok. if i undervolt it running 250W max (dont think can be done)
thus total both is 500W

my current rig running 150W for web searching and 120W idle with current gtx760
so i presume only less 100W for CPU and others.

can it be done total will be definitely 500W++

on idle it wont be. that 250W max the radeon uses is hit when you're using it at full throttle. this should manifest in a crash/bluescreen/freeze when you're gaming and yes, it can fry your psu and it can take some other hardware with it when it goes. i wouldn't do it myself. i would buy a single 280x and when i get more cash i'd get the second 280x and a new psu.

look, it might work, for a little while. But it would be like driving your car round all day redlining the engine. it will blow.

ok..i already bought 2 r9 280x dc2top asus..and as u guys said. it wont support xfire 280x for 600W...running up now at 700w on load..thanks. topic closed.
