Hey everyone, I recently put together a custom computer, I connected the monitor, power cable and tried to start it, and the fans start spinning, the lights on the case turn on but nothing gets displayed on the monitor.

I've tried starting the computer with 1 stick of RAM, and same problem.

After I tried starting the system without the graphics card and the computer wouldn't even start running the fans anymore.

This leads me to believe that the graphics card may be at fault? But that doesn't make sense how the computer won't even start without the graphics card.

I've tried disconnecting all the SATA drives and switching the monitor, all to no avail.

The system specs are as follows:

- Asus Z87 Sabertooth Motherboard
- Intel Core i7 4770K CPU
- Gigabyte GeForce GTX 780 GPU
- Corsair HX 750 PSU
- Corsair H100i Liquid Cooler
- Fractal Design Define R4 case
- Corsair Vengeance 16GB RAM kit

What i'm super confused about is how the computer won't even turn on without the graphics card installed,

I've verified that the CPU is installed correctly and that the CPU power cable (8 pin connector on the Z87) is plugged in.

Does anyone have any experience with this?
