Hi to all from Tom's,

I have a bit of an issue I'm hoping someone can help me out with. I have two gaming PC's connected wireless to a Netgear CG3 100D-2 router. Yes, I know that wireless is not the way to go with online games, but unfortunately due to the layout of the house, its not possible to have them connected via ethernet at this point in time. On to my problem.

So, both PC's connect to the internet just fine, but one of them tends to experience lag spikes during online play. After further investigation, I noted that the PC experiencing lag spikes was fluctuating between 43.0 Mbps to 29.0 Mbps to 14.0 Mbps, while the other PC generally remained stable at 72.0 Mbps. Luckily, I had another wireless card and could test whether the first card was broken or not. Both cards displayed exactly the same results. Signal strength is full 5 bars on both PC's. I have also tried Windows diagnose, and it always tells me that the device is configured correctly, but the DNS server is not responding. ? EDIT* The PC that is working fine, gives the exact same message when I diagnose.

I have tried restarting the router as well as flushing the DNS, but results stay the same. Can anyone give some assistance that might help me solve my problem? Thanks in advance.
