BF4 seems to run rather slowly. I think it's around 45 fps and I think it should run faster.
I have an amd fx9590 running at 4.7ghz, 16gRAM, radeon r9 290. All brand new. Cpu temp is around 45c and gpu temp is around 65c.
Also my graphics glitch out.. like I am drunk and have triple vision. This happened on my old cpu/motherboard as well. It comes and goes.. this doesn't happen in other games and I wonder if anyone else has it? http://i.imgur.com/PuDyBvE.png

It looks as if it's trying to render a 3D image (you can see the blue to red spectrum, especially noticeable on the capture point "B" logo), which would explain the low FPS, especially given your graphics card.

Do you have any programs that emulate 3D? I know there are some kicking around that filter the image into 2 like this so that you can get a 3D-type image on nearly anything, worth having a look around your computer.

Yeah that's what it made me think of when I first saw it. I didn't even know there was software like that... I have no idea what is causing this?

you should get 80+ FPS on ultra with that setup on bf4. what is your resolution set to?
I think the triple drunk vision that you say was a bug and is fixed since Dec3rd

I mean the resolution in the BF4 video setting, it's default is %100, the max you can take it with your rig is up to %120-140 depending on the map, but anything more than that is not a good idea!

Not sure why this was selected as the solution. I didn't do this.

I don't think anyone else has this problem anymore since DICE fixed it with a patch.
