Windows ME doesn't recognise the second hard disk

I installed ME on a virtual machine. The OS recognised the Hard Disk 1 (Primary DOS partition).
But Hard Disk 2 is gone.

Note: I attached Hard Disk 2. But fdisk does not recognise it.

Your specs do not list the second HDD. If it is too large WinME will not recognize it (I believe there was a capacity limit, but ME is too far back for me to recall properly what that was).
Also, WinME does not work with NTFS formatted drives, it has to be FAT or FAT32.

I tried to make virtual hard disk, but now the size is 4GB. Fdisk still don't recognise it.
