case: cooler master haf xm
motherboard: asrock z87 extreme4
power supply: seasonic x series 650w

How should I connect the 3 case fans? Do I connect any to the motherboard or all of them to the power supply?

The case has 3, 3-pin fans with 4-pin male + female molex adapters. The motherboard has 2, 3-pin chassis fan connectors.

Solution
Do the exhaust fan(rear) to the psu, other 2 to motherboard. If the fans are variable speed, youll get the most benefit from being able to adjust the speed on the intake fans rather than the the exhaust.

It really wont make much of a difference. You can't control the speed of them w/o a fan controller, so its pretty much the same thing. I would use whatever fan headers you have available on your mb, and use the PSU for the rest.
