Using Windows 8 GUI Boot Manager on a USB

We use USB drives across our organization to repair PCs. The USB drives are bootable, and they are currently using the DOS-looking, text-only Windows Boot Manager to select to boot up ISO images, Mini XP, Ghost, MDT, Ubuntu, etc. stored on the USB drives. I now learned that Windows 8 has a GUI version of the Boot Manager. Does anyone know how I can use the new Windows-8-style GUI menu to boot a USB drive?

Please note, none of the PCs we repair have Windows 8 yet. Most of them have Windows 7 and Windows XP, but I am only concerned about how the USB drives boot up to the different ISO images we have in the USB drive and using the GUI menu to boot up the USB. So this will be irrelevant to whatever OS is on the PC's internal hard drive.
