after many weeks of deliberation and research I finally figured out what my final computer build will be, I have made that hard realization that expensive does not always mean better, neither does larger.
Monitor: Benq XL2420te
Cpu: Intel i7 3770k
Ram: 16 gb corsair 1600mhz
Cpu cooler: noctua 6 dual heatpipe
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 1 tb
Motherboard : Gigabyte Intel z77 lga 1155
Case: Nzxt 820 matte black.
Thermal Coolant: Noctua NT-H1
Graphics Card: 2 R9 290 (non reference)
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 1000 watt
OS: windows 8.1
HOTAS: Saitek X52
Keyboard: Logitech G510S
Mouse: Razer DeathAdder infrared mouse
Blu ray drive: Asus 12x
Speakers: Logitech Z623 2.1
So far that is my build . I want to get the r9 290x but the non reference cards don't look like they are coming out soon and I do need a computer for school and work etc. So I am going to build it around January 3rd etc.
Any additional input would be welcome. And no I'm not going nvidia due to star citizen having support with mantle. Which I believe was a game changer for me.
