First time PC builder, I wanted to follow a red/black scheme with a windowed case but if it would be significantly cheaper to get the same performance (or possibly get a much higher performance and basic looks for the price) I'm open to any suggestions.

this is what I have my build at right now

I was considering getting a radeon r9 270x instead of the GTX 660, would it even be worth the money? unless of course I can get the 270x when it's on sale or something

Would prefer the price to not go any higher (at $810 at time of posting)

another note is I plan on eventually running a dual-monitor setup, with the secondary monitor mostly being used for music/internet browsing while I play games. Will my setup be able to do this? And will the music being played on the 2nd monitor go through my headphones or will I have to use the graphics card's HDMI for the 2nd monitor to get sound?

The 7870 GHz is better than both cards and cheaper.

For most games they are about the same, but you will notice a small difference in games like BF4 which are CPU-intensive.

Well If it's only like $20 more I might just get the 8320 instead. And with the build you posted is there any particular reason you went with the PSU you did? I don't know much about what the difference between gold/bronze/platinum would do other than conduct heat differently.

For the HAF 912 I wanted to get the one with the RED led front 200mm fan and the only one on newegg that actually showed the color was a blue one, and the regular edition wasn't lit up nor did it say it even had a red one in the sepcs sheet, do you know if this one will have a red led front fan? http://

and in your opinoin do you think the HAF 912 or this one is an overall better case

Also, do you happen to know of any optical drives that can write/read dvd/cd and at least read blu-ray and will be a perfect/near perfect color match with either of those two cases? (as in the face won't be a different shade of black/gray and look weird)

lastly, the network adapter in this build http:// connects to a PCI-E port, will that cause any problems with the mobo/GPU in either of the cooler master cases?
