Hello! I need help. Im getting a budget gaming PC soon and im having hard time to decide which of the following build should i choose.

A. -Amd A8 6600k
-4GB 1333mhz

B. - FX 4130
- Sapphire 7730
http://www.sapphiretech.com/presentation/product/?cid=1...
- 4GB RAM 1333mhz

Im reading some reviews that an apu needs a good ram with atleast 1600mhz speed to get nice fps which is almost the same price of the 7730 card if i get the 4GB x2 kit. My question is which build is better? A or B? Should i get the fx and buy a video card or Should i get the a8 and buy a good ram?

Thanks...

B will easily beat A in anything you throw at it.

unless you plan a htpc where you will want the compact apu instead to reduce size/noise.

Piece of advice:

For gaming get at least fx-6300, it's only a few bucks more, but will be able to play games better.

Can you go $195? This is like minimal spec for a gaming PC:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks

CPU: AMD FX-4130 3.8GHz Quad-Core Processor ($79.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: G.Skill 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($44.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: PowerColor Radeon HD 7750 1GB Video Card ($69.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $194.97
(Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.)

You will be able to upgrade CPU, GPU & memory later.
