pay the difference and get a OC 770 SLI later if needed. I had the Zotac 560ti and skipped the 600's. Was going to get the gtx 770 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814125463, but Went for the r9 290 Just to try the other team. But I probably go back to Nvidia if I can sell or return the card. Nothing against the red team love the 117 fps on BF4 at ultra that I got today lol ..but the extra software that you can attach to you nvidia game experience and the game bundles as it stands today makes it the better value. Again nothing against Radeon cards my Power Color 290 does not ever heat like they say and the noise is comparable to my old Zotac card no "Jet like sounds" from my 290. But I think overall and future proof (SLI) ..go 770 ..

I said sli if needed ..lol the 770 will run most of today's games in high quality. If you plan to get a new monitor next year g-sync would be an option if you already have the 770. Like I say skip the 600's just go for the 700's will last you longer if you plan slowly upgrade your gaming system ..including monitor, that's what I been doing over the years, and I go for the biggest card I can get so I can skip 2 years at least before I upgrade...good luck on your choice and god bless brother !!! :) I'm going to try and give the 290 back as soon as I get home. lol.
