Is it worth buying r9 270 over the X model?
lower power consumption,and just a little bit lower gpu clock for about 10% less money. :pt1cable:

Casual gaming, mostly MMOS , LOL, PLANETSIDE 2 ,SMITE etc. Low level video and picture editing.
My CPU is FX 8350 , PSU is 630W Thermaltake Smart SPS-630M

The 270 is within 5% of the 270X so yes it is worth it. If you are into overclocking the GPU you would need the 270X since it has two power connectors while the 270 has only one and is close to maxing it.
