Unable to Format USB

I have a Lexar 3.0 USB, which was working fine until last night. I was copying files on to the USB when it turned itself off. When I put it in my computer now, it says it needs to format, but when I try to do that, it says "unable to format." I've tried Easeus Partition, HP USB format, and Bootit, along with other things online and can't get it to work. With Bootit and Partition and most other options, they cannot detect the USB. In device manager, I can see my USB, but in My Computer, I can't. It will sometimes show up for a second and then turn off again. Also, when it's plugged in to my computer, all my screens flash and it's hard to click anything. With HP USB, it can detect my USB, but it can't format because it says it's write protected. On the Lexar site, it says to take off write protection by formatting the USB, which is the whole problem to begin with, so that doesn't help. I've tried contacting Lexar and have gotten no response. I have hope that I'm not the only one that's had this problem! I really hope I can fix this and get the files off the USB too.

Any suggestions would be great, thanks!
