Hello.

I've been looking around but it's really hard to make a decision.

I am going to use this PC for gaming ONLY.

So, I am looking if I need a new cpu and motherboard.

I have a i5-650 3.20 dual (1st gen) and a Asrock H55m-2.0 motherboard (1155) and a 400watt Aopen psu.

I also have 1tb HDD, DVD, 8gb 1333mhz ram. I currently have no gpu.

So, My budget is: $340.
IF(!) I need a new CPU & Motherboard, I'll raise my budget to $500

I don't know what's the best, but is my CPU still Ok? If not, I'll buy a AMD or Intel, and I'll get a 850watt power supply. And motherboard, if it fits in the budget. AMD or Intel?!?!

I am going to play my games on a 17inch screen (1280x1024), so the best GPU is not needed..
The games i want to play are mainly COD4, Crysis 2, BF3.
^ I am aiming to a GTX660

For the rest, I hope that it's possible in my budget.. I hope you can suggest some great parts!!

Remind: It'll be for a 17" screen, so NO 1920x1080!!!!

Thanks in Advance.

So, I think I'm going for a AMD FX-8320.. The motherboard will be: Asrock M3N78D.

I think I'm going to overclock it, so a good cooler is required. Around $40, suggestions?

I want to be safe and I think I'm going for at least 700w psu. Any suggestions, under 70-80$.

But I'm stuck at the videocard.. I want to use it for the upcoming 3 years? should I go for a GTX760 or should I wait and get a better one.. I think around 360 dollars, is the max for the videocard, maybe 400 but that's really the max..

You can also show me some builds under 630 dollars..

Thanks in advance.

If youre not going to play @1080p, a 760 for 720p is nonsense imo, the gtx 650ti boost would be enough, for that budget, get the CM cooler master TPC 812 cooler, regarding the psu, you dont need a 700w mate, 500w will do, for that price range, you can get these psu's:

FSP Raider 650w
Seasonic S12II 620w
