Hello,
I am building a new gaming PC very soon and I was wondering if all my parts would would work together. I have put together a list on PCPartPicker here: http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/harrisoncove/saved/2Wr2

I will not be buying the components from the stores which are listed on Part picker, but any help is appreciated on whether my first build will work.

Thank you

Get a better motherboard. The one you've listed is an ancient-tech 700-series chipset board with a modern socket glued on it. Get a 990FX if you can afford it, or a decent 970 that has heatsinks on its VRMs and is not also a liar-labeled 700-series board.
You will also need a video card. At a minimum, a GTX650Ti Boost or HD7850 will provide "decent" settings on modern games.

Although there are no heatsinks on its VRMs, it is definitely a better board, with more modern interfaces and faster Hypertransport buss.

Otherwise yes, those parts will work.
Keep in mind that there is no integrated graphics on the 970 board, so you WILL need a graphics card.

Yes, I was going to go with the Asus HD 7870?
Do you know the rough FPS the system would get in DayZ on high settings

I haven't played DayZ, but I can tell you I have a HD7870, and I've been sufficiently satisfied with its performance that I have felt no need to replace it with the HD7970 I bought last spring for BTC mining (which it is no longer doing).

Ok, I will write out a list with all my parts and could you give me a overview of what you think of the system please?

You'll have to check benchmarks for games (I play mostly older games, and few if any FPS). I believe you'll get at least "high" settings across the board in new games; at least.

Sorry to bother you more, but will all the parts be compatible with each other?
