Computer would turn on, I would see a HP logo, and right when it should be loading to see the users, the computer started setting off a loud, high pitched beep that was non-stop until turned off. This started happening about 3 a.m. last night. When I woke up I went over to the laptop to troubleshoot it, now it no longer sends any display to the monitor on the laptop. I tried hooking a external display up to it and had gotten no response. I believe it had done a Windows Update last night to cause this, but I am not quite sure. Now when i start up the computer it shows the Windows Logo and says "Resuming Windows" for about 3-4minutes then, it goes to a black screen and runs a ChkDsk, and it has gotten to 4% in the past 20 hours. (Started at 4p.m. yesterday, now 12:18 p.m. Everything in the computer is working. Tested both ram sticks, hdd, motherboard, graphics card, and all input cables. The only thing I have not been able to check is the input on power. Any and all help would be appreciated.

**Note the extremely high-pitched loud beep happens after the intial Gateway logo pops up, after the Gateway logo goes away and a Windows Logo should appear, it startsw the beep, and does not stop until shut off. Windows logo did not show up during the beep. Beep no longer happens, but computer will still not work.
