Hello. My PC is pretty old. I want to buy a new videocard and upgrade other components later. Now I have MSI K9N Neo 2 motherboard and I wonder if it is compatible with R9 270X Sapphire 11217-01-20G videocard? And if it is, will it be working on its maximum capacity with my hardware?
Thanks.

new generation of pci-e version has a very good backward compatibility with older version..

So yes, it'll work..

but if you ask, will it working at maximum performance, then that's definitely depend on your other hardware configuration..
at least you'll need i5 class intel processor or fx6300 class amd processor to extract all performance of this graphic card..
