Hey guys, I'm currently trying to get myself a Gaming PC but was wondering if it would be worth waiting until after Christmas to see if there would be sales/price drops for the parts.

Is it worth waiting to see if I can save money or will there be no noticeable difference between now and after Christmas/January?

Thanks. :)

Well if you are willing to wait I am sure in 6 months there will be new equipment out too :)

well you just missed some really good deals, Microcenter had the 4770K for $200 in-store pick up.
If you know what parts you want I would just wait until they discount the specific parts with a good discount. I know I saw the Seasonic USA Platinum rated 760XP2 for like $100 over the summer/fall from newegg.

I think I just saw an advertisement for "Cyber Winter" , so I don't think it really matters when, they will put discounts on parts big or small obviously around the holidays but deals can be had all year if you just look hard enough.

I did see good deals on but i live in Ireland so buying from american retailers can usually cost too much in shipping. Plus we don't have newegg :(

well, find 3-4 good retailers and watch the prices on the components you want, you will catch some price breaks.
