I just bought a new motherboard and processor. After getting it all installed, I didn't format my hardware and reinstall my OS (win7 64 Professional) and it ran all wonky. It was freezing, crashing, etc. So I wanted to boot from the CD drive to reinstall windows, but I keep getting the message "reboot and select proper boot device". I set my disc drive to first boot, SSD second. I then formatted my SSD in another computer figuring that was the problem and nothing happened. I'm extremely frustrated with this. How do I fix this?

Solution
Update: I found the solution to my problem. I disabled all USB boot options in the BIOS and it ran from the disc drive. Now installing Windows.
