First build in a decade, looking for feedback

After ten years as a Mac user, I'm switching back to PCs. I haven't built a system in that time, and I'm only slowly figuring out what the hardware landscape is like right now.

This machine will mostly be for general use and occasional gaming. I'm not obsessed with running demanding games maxed out, but I'd like to be able to keep up with new releases for a little while. Mostly I just want to make sure I'm getting good bang for my buck.

Are there any places where I could save a lot of money for only a small drop in performance? Any places where a few dollars more would buy me a big improvement? I suspect my motherboard/CPU/video card combination might be overkill for what I have in mind, but if it will age well I'm OK with that.

CPU: Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($224.99 @ Amazon)
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler ($29.99 @ Microcenter)
Motherboard: ASRock Z87 Extreme3 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($114.99 @ Microcenter)
Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory ($79.99 @ Newegg)
Storage: Samsung 840 Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($109.99 @ NCIX US)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.99 @ Microcenter)
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 760 2GB Video Card ($249.99 @ NCIX US)
Case: Fractal Design Define R4 (Black Pearl) ATX Mid Tower Case ($89.99 @ Microcenter)
Power Supply: OCZ Fatal1ty 750W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply ($89.99 @ Amazon)
Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer ($19.99 @ Microcenter)

Thanks in advance for any input.

I would definitely switch the PSU, if nothing else due to the fact that OCZ is going through bankruptcy. Their warranties may not be honored, it hasn't been determined yet. Otherwise, I like the build. As pointed out, you may want to go with a different MB as well.

Looks ok.

Some comments:
Might want to upgrade the motherboard for better overclock ability.
Hopefully that 840 series SSD is EVO or PRO and not the basic one.
I would rather get a Corsair, Seasonic or XFX PSU. EVGA SuperNOVA 750B might be nice too, and you would save a few bucks.

You can probably save a bit on the case by going with Corsair 300R for example.

If you can still find them, the 7870's at below $150 prices would be nice, while it is a downgrade in performance, it would be major cost saving as well.

I don't really have any interest in overclocking. Is there a MB upgrade that will get more out of the current components I'm looking at?

Thanks for the heads-up on the SSD and PSU. I'll definitely revise.
