So I have this really old desktop HP Pavilion a618 from 2002. Original with XP but installed windows 7 on it. I want to buy a webcam for videochat, but it says I have to have at least 500mb HD. I Dont have HD on my computer, and want to upgrade if that is possible. Some info

CPU: AMD Athlon XP 3000+ 2.17 GHz
Chipset: VIA KM400
Southbridge: VIA VT8237
Graphics: Standard VGA Graphics Driver
RAM: 512 mb
System type: 32-bit

Do you need more info? Cause I dont know what to look on.

I believe that refers to 500MB of Hard Drive space.

Go to my computer where it lists Hard Drive, floppy drive CD/DVD rom drives.
Right click the C drive . In the pop up click properties.
It should state drive capacity, Used amount and free amount.
A dedicated video card is not needed for webcams. Most are low resolution.
