Using Gigabit switch and modem

OK, so I what I have set up right now is a standard Thompson 516 modem, connected to the internet via DSL, and that is connected to a DLink Gigabit Unmanaged Ethernet hub (8 port), and a 24 port unmanaged hub. I want to configure it so that I don't have to log in to PPPoE each time I use the computers, it's getting ridiculous, also this occasionally messes around with gaming (2ip adresses), which was the point of having the gigabit switch in the first place (lack of port issues all together).

Now, I've been looking at the modems config webpage, and I can't seem to find anything useful. I know I can't do anything with the switch as it's unmanaged.

You need a router behind the modem, not a switch. The router will contain the log in info, and be 'logged on'. That would then serve up internal addresses to whatever devices you need.
